Child Care
The child care service of the University of Jena (JUniKinder) offers child care support for TeaP attendees who bring their children when attending the TeaP in Jena:
- In general, child care support during the TeaP 2020 is possible on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Parents can have their children (between 12 weeks and 6 years of age) been cared for by trained child care workers for 2 to 4 hours per day but max. 10 hours per total conference.
- You will leave your phone number with the child care staff, so they will call you if your child(ren) should not feel comfortable. JUniKinder is located at the conference site, so you are very close by.
- If you want to use child care support, you have to read and accept the general terms of the JUni Kinder and you have to fill out the contract of childcare and send it both via e-mail to infotake-jena@stw-thueringen.de until March 9, 2020.
- Please note, that you have to send a copy of the birth certificate of your child and a copy of your identity card with the contract and the generel terms too. (also via e-mail).
- Both, the copy of the birth certificate and your identity card, you also have to show on site at the infotake.
- You have to pay via bank transfer. For this please send a direct debit authorization with all the other papers via e-mail, so the infotake can debit directly the fee from your bank account.
- When submitting the registration form, you have to specify the exact dates and time slots that should be reserved for your child(ren) (e.g., Monday 10 am to 12 am, Tuesday 8 am to 10 am, …).
- There is a limit of 8 to 10 children within each time slot – so try to submit your child care requests as early as possible.
- The fee for using this service is 10 € per 2 hours slot (6.50 € for FSU staff, 4 € for students).
